What's a Dutch town without its windmill. This one is strategically placed in a very visible spot. Well mantained and a must if you are in Haarlem.

We were exhausted so just observed the lovely mill from across the canal but at 4 pm they close down the sails of the windmill. Quite interesting to watch

Very informative tour about windmills. Our guide knew his information and very friendly. We climbed almost to the top and saw how windmills were used. Views were nice of the area. Worth a visit and inexpensive. Limited tour hours so check before you go.

A local restored windmill. It provides a good photo opportunity. There are an inside tour run by local volunteers. I didn't think the tour was worth it but your opinion might differ.
