If you know that you will be in the area you should make a reservation. They typically only take 20 people because the space is very small. We were lucky that the guide let us join because we were only there for one day but...More

This was another spot in the Netherlands where it pays to be prepared. Just like the Anne Frank House, this spot requires advanced reservations. They do have tours in the afternoon for drop-ins, but we almost didn't get in that day even being the first...More

Of all our touring in the Netherlands this was our favourite thing! It was amazing to hear the stories of Corrie Ten Boom and to actually see the hiding place. The guide was really kind and spoke clear english. We booked ahead to get the...More

We visited the Corrie ten Boom House on a Saturday morning. Be sure to make reservations on the website. This tour includes both history and Christian encouragement. It's the best thing I've done in the Netherlands.

We prebooked our tour online about 2 weeks prior to our vacation. This was a good thing, as there are lineups and due to confined space, the tours are smaller. From start to finish, my sister and I were riveted as the volunteer guide took...More

We would like to go from The Corrie ten Boom House to the Mauritshuis Museum. When I log this into our TripIt app, it's giving me a transit time of 3.5 hours using public transportation. That cannot be correct. Can someone advise me on which train to take and from which station? Also, how long should we expect that trip to be? Thank you!

How long does the tour last? For a person who wants plenty of time to soak it all in an has read and reread Corrie's books, is 2-3 hours enough time? What time do things open in Haarlem? Is it possible to arrive in the city by 8:30 and see a few things prior to a 10am tour, or do things not open until later? This is a highlight for us and we want to give it plenty of time, but also need to get to move on to the next train leg of our trip. Trying to book train tickets that give us time in the next area, but enough time in Haarlem.

April 4, 2017 1.Will the house be open on King's Day holiday 4/27/17 this year? 2. Will we be able to catch a train there going from and returning to Central Station that Thursday? I understand the routing is different for the holiday. 3. Any reservations to tour the house still available for King's Day with an English language guide? Thank you!

They have an excellent website that should provide that information. Easy train transport from central station to haarlem though haarlem is a great title city to experience for a night or two.
