I was looking forward for the Corrie ten Boom House and was delighted when I found out that there are tours in English - maybe I had too high expectations but I was very disappointed. Even though the tour guide was passionate about giving the...More

Read the book & saw the film in the ‘70s - wonderful & moving to see the real deal and (for my wife) to actually enter THE hiding place.

Worth the wait for the tour! We feel lucky to have gotten in to this unique historical spot. Brings to life the love that moved the ten Boom family to risk their lives to protect their Jewish neighbors.

Overall a worthwhile experience to understand the courage of this family and the risk they took to help others. We did not have tickets and arrived an hour before the 3pm tour. We were about 20th in line, and they only accept groups of 20...More

The best way to get from Amsterdam to Haarlem is by train. Not to expensive, not to far and a really enjoyable trip if you like public transportation. You could always rent a car but I never do because I don't want to hassle... More
