In Amsterdam there are a couple of arthouse movie places in my neighbourhood. One of them is Filmhallen. Always nice to be here, nice people. Great films!

Visited FilmHallen with teenagers on a rainy afternoon which worked out well. Good choice of English speaking or subtitled films.
The cinema was smart inside and all seats had a good view of the screen.
Conveniently situated next to Foodhallen so that was dinner sorted out as well - tick!

We were staying very close by in an Airbnb, and we went to check it out. The cinema was great with good seats and cup holders. The best part was the incredible food hall next door which offers every possible food, top quality, in a great atmosphere (good beer too!)

I am an avid cinema-goer in England so jumped at the opportunity to catch a film here. It was frustrating that they only accept cards as I had to incur the international fees, but it was thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. It was €11 per adult and then pretty much same again for food and drink (if you’re expecting popcorn and nachos think again!) which was cakes on china plates and flavoured drinks in glass jars! They have a cute photo booth too for €2.50 a go.

This Cinema has the best selection of blockbusters as well as indi-films. Their food and beverages are delicious and besides the normal snacks you know from giant Cinema chains, full of little surprises like cakes and organic lemonades. The chairs are spacious and comfortable. Very clean place, I love this place

This cinema is the big sister of The Movies in West-Amsterdam. Filmhallen is a great cinema: you're spoiled for choice every day of the week, the staff is friendly and the cinema is centrally located.
You can find a 'food market' named the Foodhallen right next to it. Pretty pricy, but usually good food.

Great place to go in Amsterdam for an evening. Quite a scene of locals frequent the Film and Food hallen. 9 theatres and many food stalls + bars.

De Hallen has become an Amsterdam hotspot and this multiplex is part of its allure. Great selection of films, comfortable seating, and a cafe. (With fabulous food court next door if you're hungry before or after the movie.) Added bonus if your film is screening in the gorgeous and historic art-deco Parisienzaal. Am so happy this cinema has opened in my neighborhood!
