Paul, the bartender created an Old Fashion using two parts Cognac, one part chipotle simple syrup and a flame smoked cinnamon stick. Outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable, the best!

The staff of the 23rd bar are the standard by which all others should be judged. The professionalism this staff exudes is far beyond the competition, Annebel, Jean Paul, Marc,Paul, Keven, and Giosuè
These are just the staff members I have been lucky enough to meet. The service is always exceptional when I need to entertain coworkers and clients I never need to look farther than the 23rd bar. Thank you Hotel Okura and the 23rd bar for making my life easier.

I didn’t expect a wide beer selection, but I expected more than Amstel and Heineken in such a bar. Staff was polite and the place was neat, though it was a strange setup.

A great find for a celebratory drink in the City. We were a group of 11 who arrived at 1845 on a Saturday evening. We were very lucky to find a table that could accommodate us all. Bottles of champagne on the more expensive side of things c150euros. The view made it all worth it.

We had a couple of drinks at this great bar. We had a Porn star martini and then a Mai Tai. Wonderful.

The bar with an Amazing view! Friendly Bartenders! Not too crowded! But the only thing I found a bit weird was the bench seating arrangements!

The bar is located on the highest floor of the Okura hotel with a view over Amsterdam from three large glass walls. You will not find happyhour shots here, but high-quality cocktails and professional service with an amazing view in day- and nighttime.
You will see that they have a carefully composed cocktailmenu with surprising combinations. If you've already tasted everything on the menu, the staff will gladly help you with your search for something new.
Needless to say, we loved our visit!

23rd floor with a panoramic view of the city of Amsterdam. I had a tasteful whiskey sour. The bartenders are nice and friendly. Coming back :-)

Perfect place for a date! Really nice view (although they could dim the lights inside a little bit to reduce glare). Good cocktails and a nice ambience. Would definitely recommend!

Other than the rest of the gorgeous, luxurious and affordable Okura hotel, we experienced the bar on the 23rd floor as somewhat disappointing. Staff friendly, other customers also friendly, but views hard to get through relative small and occupied windows. And the cocktails very pricey indeed at 15 Euros ... the frozen Margarita was carefully prepared but did not come close to what you would get in the Southern USA. The complimentary nibbles were quite good.

Thank you for your question.
The Twenty Third bar normally doesn't take any group bookings, however we do have the capacity for 15 persons. Friday is a busy evening usually so we would advise you to be there around 18:00 or 19:00 o'clock.

Thank you for your question. Hotel Okura Amsterdam organizes a special event in the Twenty Third Bar during New Year's Eve, for staying guests only. We will serve the traditionally Dutch "Oliebollen" and "Appelflappen". and naturally the bar will provide a great, citywide view during the fireworks.
We hope to welcome you as a staying guest during New Year's Eve, to which we already look forward.

Thank you for your interest in our Twenty Third Bar.
At the bottom of each restaurant or bar on our website it indicates an area called: "good to know" with useful information like parking, route, opening time and dress code information.
Reagrding the dress code for out Twenty Third Bar it states the following:
"We kindly ask you to take our dress code, ‘smart casual’, into account (no shorts above the knee (men), no flip-flops and no caps or hats)."
