Amsterdam's murky past comes to life at the Amsterdam Dungeon * walk through Amsterdam’s sinister past * 500 years of history brought to you in about 80 minutes * meet our witch hunter, soul merchant and many other mouth breathers * go deep into the dungeon with (max) 29 other sinners * you are part of the show (or push another victim forward) * it’s so much fun, it’s scary! * English spoken… but also available in Dutch…. If you want to brag! * 10 years or younger? We wouldn’t do it, but that’s just an advise * Don’t tell anyone, but you can leave if you can’t take it anymore

A good attraction to visit, lots of fun with actors taking you through the scenarios, not advised if you don't like stairs or darkness. The actors are great and make the tour a lot of fun. The tour ends a little abruptly but is a...More

I couldn't have said it better myself Steve. Thanks for that! (But know that the London Dungeon is just as 'orrible as we are! 😈)

It was a fun way to make time pass, but its not worth the full standalone price. The dungeon does not have much relation to the history of Amsterdam, But Its still fun none the less.

Thank you for the review and visit. Did you know that all our stories are based on true events? From the Spanish Inquisition, the Witch burnings to the VOC Soul merchants. But I like to deny all of that as well. 😈

This was fun, interactive drama/skits. A bit cheesy, as could be expected, but fun. I don't consider it a "must do." Cost is a little steep, but it was fun.

Thank you for visiting and the review. But I guess you've got a great value for money.... a tour, all the actors, the sfx and some cheese as well! 😈

It was great fun with great actors. Especially if you are in a group with people that scare easily. Only problem was it was advertised that tour lasts for 80 minutes, and in my case it lasted only 60 minutes.

Thanks for visiting and the review! You know... we count the whole experience from the cages until you escape in that 80 minutes. But maybe you were so scared that you ran out of here 😈

Visited here during our stay in Amsterdam. Can't recommend enough. Acting is brilliant and gives you a real insight into it all. Definitely worth the money you pay which isn't a lot. We opted for the combined offer with madam tussauds wax works which was...More

We can't like this review enough! And if you visit next time... bring your in-laws! We like them the most 😈

Excellent actors teaching you the history of Amsterdams past of torture and law. Great involvement of people and some parts did make you jump.

Thank you for visiting and the review. And you're welcome for the free work-out (but try to jump higher next time 😈)

Absolutely fabulous. Actors were brilliant to at involving one and taking you through a medieval experience of how Amsterdam was man centuries back. Not for the faint hearted. Prepare to have fights and laugh a lot.

Thank you for the review! But we're not that medieval. We try to keep up to date (with the past 😈)

My boyfriend was the one really wanted to go here..i scare easily and wasn't keen. But I am so glad we went. It was a theatrical history tour run by actors. It was fantastic. There were a couple of scares but all in good fun...More

Hey Dawn! It's maybe a first, but we like the fact that you let your boyfriend convince you to enter! We're not as scary as we look. (and we look terrible!) I hope your words will get other "chickens" over the edge to go deep...More

Upon first entering, I was a little scared and not sure of what I'd see but each story was quite fun and interesting. There are scares and a few things to "watch out" for, but overall it was a great time! There's no goblins, monsters...More

Thank you for visiting Vanessa! And you're right. There are some things to "watch out" for! We watch out for witches all the time! We wouldn't want the fire to go out at night. We look forward to your next stop during your trip to...More

I am afraid no review will do this attraction justice. A 6/5 stars for this one. Our kids 13 and 17 loved every moment of it with us. We learned a lot, screamed a lot and laughed to the point of tears. An absolute recommendation.

What kind words Roelof! I think our Judge made the right impression to convince you to write this. Too bad the point of tears wasn't reached. We have to do better next time.
