This is a small really interesting museum about death, well more about funerals. At the moment I was there they had a foto exhibition about how people handled death of their beloved ones, especially if they lost a baby. It was really touching. My 8 year old daughter found this museum from a free childrens Amsterdam map. After we finished the tour in 15 minutes, she wanted to attend the build your own mini cuffin workshop but they said that it is only in Dutch language. So she was a little dissapointed.

Located a little bit outside from the centre of Amsterdam (easily reachable by tramway or city buses, ca. 20 minutes) and at the entrance of the Zorgvlied Cemetery, this museum includes many interesting features: post-mortem pictures (and their stories), burial procedures (divided also by religion), burial objects and much more.
