Nice pub near the red light district. It was full of people. We found two seats at the bar counter. After a couple of round of drinks, the barman offered us and drunk with us the third one. Very friendly place.

Always have at least one pint in the old sailor, gives the feel of being on a ship whilst inside. Defiantly stop in for one.

Spent a few afternoons here sitting out side with a cold beer and watched the world go by. A visit to the Dam with out visiting the sailor isn't a visit at all. Great pub always a great atmosphere 5 stars

This place is so much fun! Everyone in the bar was singing along to all the music. Place gets packed, but still able to get beers. Favorite bar in Amsterdam.

These folks know how to have fun. We spent an excellent evening at the bar and the barkeeps made us feel like regulars. A must stop when in the area and my favorite memory of Amsterdam. These guys were top notch - and can sing!

Well placed pub as a centre for your walking tour of the red light district. Great for watching all the types wandering round window shopping and more. Otherwise it's just a busy pub.
