What a wonderful place with beautiful photos of my rock heroes from the 80's, just bring back all the good memories!. Talked to the gallery owner too, such a nice and helpful lady. Well, you will see not only rock artists but also great photos of Amsterdam which by the way I just bought one yesterday.

This is certainly not a museum, hardly an art gallery but rather a small canalside rock art shop. The photos on display on the top level were nonetheless very interesting but when we asked to go down to the lower level the lady at the desk said it was a mess and she needed to sort it out before she... I visited this little gallery a week ago and bought a beautiful photo of Amsterdam. The friendly owners have specialized in amazing rock photos, but you can also buy beautiful photos or paintings of Amsterdam, made by local artists. A truely pleasant visit without all the touristic nonsense you find all too often in Amsterdam!

This fantastic location houses some of the most amazing rock photography. I am a big fan and loved looking at all the fantastic prints that are for sale. Definitely worth stopping by, as we see so much photography only online nowadays. Great place to find that special gift, as well!

I stumbled upon this great little gallery in the Joordan area of Amsterdam. Not your “a typical” tourist store as the owner actually has time to talk to you and give you background on the photographers and the methods they use. Some of the most beautiful photos & prints of Amsterdam can be found here. I’ll be back again for... More

Sorry to hear that our gallery was not to your expectation. We do not claim to be a museum . Our collection is too large to have it on the walls. You may consider a photographer’s work like a chef cook. You see what is on the menu however the kitchen has much more to offer. Travelers visit our gallery... More

This is a little musuem/store with great collection of photoes of rock and a little bit of jazz. The nice French lady at this place asked me about what I was looking for. When I said jazz, she gave me a photo book of a French photographer which covered all American jazz artists of 50s & 60s. Even though I... More

I've known this gallery from my visits to London and was pleasantly surprised when i learned a few years ago they have a shop in Amsterdam. Happy collector and always love the attention and service you get from Michelle the gallery owner.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
