I really liked this well maintained park. It was always a pleasure to spend some time walking there looking for some quietness. The park is always almost empty. Save for the afternoons when more peoples seem to jog around it is always quiet and solitary. It is well maintained and clean, lots of small paths which are nice to bike... More

If you need some space, peace and quiet from all the tourist spots and hassle and bustle of central Amsterdam - come here for a walk. Weaving paths, ponds, canals and trees along with locals strolling and going for a run - make this an excellent spot for some downtime. If the weather is good, take a picnic

We were staying at the hotel on the edge of this park so it was the ideal place for a quiet stroll but it is worth a visit anyway, especially if you have a bicycle. The crisscross of paths and bridges over water and plenty of places to sit make this a serene place to be after the bustle of... More

Recently moved into the area and I am really amazed by this park. Extremely well maintained and empty at the same time. Just what you need in a busy city. Much better than other parks in the center which get immediately overcrowded when the sun goes out of the clouds. Plenty of kids playgrounds btw.

Very much like the Vondelpark, Rembrandt Park is very pretty though much quieter. It seemed to be the place where Amsterdam residents would be more likely to go. In fact it was an Amsterdam local who recommended that we include that on our bicycle ride. If you want a bit of time out in the outdoors, head here.

Even in March that weather was cold and trees were not green yet the park is so beautiful, I loved the lake in side, you feel so relax when walking around.

This huge park lies a little to the northwest of the more renowned Vondelpark. The park is much less busy, with walking paths generally being narrower. Very relaxing place to spend a free hour or two away from the bustle of the city.

Although this park is close to the famous Vondelpark, it is greatly underrated and much quieter than its more famous brother. The park is mostly used as a (bicyle) connection between different parts of the city: the park is narrow and long. Bike paths are good. There are also ponds, a petting zoo, beautiful lawns for a picknick and once... More

This park is nice. It's surrounded by cafes and very close to several tram stops, as well as a grocery store. There's quite an elaborate rope jungle gym in the playground section which was fun to climb, and there was even a fitness center - essentially an adult playground - in the southeastern portion of the park, too. Recent rain... More

Avoids much of the vandalism of other parks, although there is the occasional bit of idiotic graffiti, the park is full of wildlife and even at night are safe (although I didn't feel like it at the start).
