Friendly Barman who described the different options of jenever (Dutch gin) available. Everything we tasted was amazing! Old world vibe and more of a local joint but welcoming to tourists. Overall an incredible experience.

Been meaning to write this for a while. Have been here multiple times over the last 2 years either by myself or with friends. Excellent bar man (looks the spitting image of Blake Carrington from dynasty tv show) who really enjoys his work and is...More

If you are in Amsterdam, do not miss the opportunity to visit this unique establishment. Furnished as a tavern for tasting special spirits in 1600, now gives us hundreds of liqueurs and jenevers, some prepared with secret recipes. The owner can tell you the history...More

Came across this fine place more or less by accident. But out of nowhere we came across this curious and relaxed place in the middle of the Amsterdam hubbub. A test room for different Jenevers and other liqueurs, in a 1618-property, A place to sit...More

Very disturbing. Came for a visit, ordered a drink and began to visit with others, was almost immediately met with unwelcoming comments from proprietors I will not be ordering anther drink. I recommend you go to Cafe Karperschoek, much nicer operators.

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
