About
This area in the oldest part of Amsterdam is known for the red neon windows that display barely-dressed prostitutes advertising their services; it's all perfectly acceptable as long as it stays inside this designated area of the city.

Walking through the red light district was definitely intermediating as well as captivating. It is a brilliant experience but make sure you understand it before experiencing it and to follow the rules as it is not fair to make those at work uncomfortable. I recommend...More

Considering acts of human intimacy is how we all got here in the first place, we're pretty prudish about it all as a culture. The Amsterdam RLD makes it all honest and open and fun, in an area of beautiful old canals and houses. My...More

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its

historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
