While the address says Prinsengracht, it will easier to reach it by taking the street next to Magna Plaza, the old post office, walk over the canal, and it is right there. The grounds surrounding the church are actually facing Raadhuisstraat. Two things to note...More

This is the church where Rembrant is buried as an indigent, so don't waste your time trying to find his grave inside the church. The visit was worth because of the climbing tour we found out when visiting the church. It takes about 30 minutes...More

A large imposing building that is well worth a visit. Quite plain inside as you would expect from this denomination but still atmospheric.

Starting my walk around 8:30 am, my feet and legs were feeling tired when I finally reached this church. It was raining and cold outside so this church gave me physical comforts. Decorations are few, nothing much to take pictures of! A lady was playing...More

It's on the west side of Amsterdam, right next to the Anne franks house, it is a very big church and a bit impressive with its tall pillars of white marble, the organ is big and the inside of the church is too

This church is located at the Westkerk tram stop. It is serviced by trams 13,14, and 17. The church is nice inside with interesting walls and ceilings. The bell tower is the draw to this church. If you climb 180 steep steps you will get...More
