Been through Central station many times, always bustling with people going about their business. Lots of new shops and places to eat. This would make a fantastic hotel. If you like architecture and appreciate it, this is one building to visit.

Train is the way to commute in The Netherlands and Amsterdam Central the easiest way to do so. Link with every cities and very quick, frequent and easy commuting to the airport.

We arrived at Centraal Station by train from the airport. Easy to negate their instructions and signage. The station was clean and the staff very helpful. A few shops inside to buy food and other items. Is well looked after

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

I would avoid this city . Brugge and Brussels are far nicer . The city is dirty , the service horrible and it’s all overpriced . I’d say to anyone please be at least aware of this and the horrendous crime level
