We had an amazing time here! The cats were all clean, as well as their living conditions, and the volunteers all friendly. It was obvious that they cared deeply for the cats, which is important. The cats were very friendly, apart from a few which...More

We love cats so we enjoyed it. It's a tight spot with lots of cats. The cats for adoption are caged and the cats running around are alley cats. The alley cats will not be cuddled. You can definitely pat some and they are really...More

The cat boat is easily accessible, near the city center and the Centraal train station. When we arrived, there were around 15-20 cats on the boat, most of them eating or sleeping or roaming around. They have access to a small outdoor area, which is...More

What a fabulous job this lady has done, I have never seen so many activity centres for cats. They were huge. It was very clean and there were a lot of cats there. The cats were really happy and we played with a few of...More

We decided to check this place out after visiting a coffee shop- What could be better than playing with animals a little high? The cats roaming around on the boat were permanently living on the boat, that cats in cages were up for adoption. The...More

This is a boat that is also a cat shelter! According to the volunteer staff, the cats are ones that may need a bit more "socialization" or are hard to adopt for some other reason. The fact that the boat is an attraction for locals...More

It was lovely to visit here today. There are cats that are allowed to roam around the boat who actually live on the boat and are not for re-homing and then there are some in cages that they are hoping will be adopted out and...More

I would not say this is a must for anyone. Sounded great in the guide book, but really does not deserve the mention as a tourist destination. Great for animal extremists, but really a floating shoebox filled wilt felines. Always great to support animal rescue...More

The cats and people looking after them are really friendly, but there is a "litter smell" (unavoidable, really). A very sweet attraction, and needed.

A houseboat for homeless cats?!?!? YES PLEASE! They have limited opening hours (1p-3p daily except for Wednesdays and Sundays) but this place is just delightful. Full of friendly kitties, it's an excellent stop during your day. Go hang out, give some chin scratches and belly...More

No cost, was open between 1 and 3pm, but do buy some of their merchandise and/or give a donation as they fund themselves totally on voluntary contributions. Can be quite busy.
