This is a statue of a lady on horseback that stands along busy Rokin Street. The lady is actually Queen Wilhelmina, who was Queen of the Netherlands in the late 19th century through the middle of the 20th century.

This is a pretty average looking statue. It is in the Rokin area and there are other more interesting sites around.

A large statue of a lady on a horse situated at a popular tourist junction. The statue is looking a bit worn and weathered now though.

This memorial stands in tribute to Queen Wilhemina, who was the Queen of Netherlands during the Second World War.

The equestrian sculpture is fairly simple and depicts a younger version of the queen on a leisurely ride, sitting aside on a sidesaddle. Nice enough and a bit of history to go with it. Not a must-see, but memorial is centrally located and easy to get to

This is an equestrian statue of Wilhemina, the Queen of the Netherlands (1890-1948). It is the works of Dutch architect Theresia Reiniera van der Pant and was unveiled at this location along Rokin in 1964.

Here you find a young version of Wilhemina dressed in gown and hat and riding horseback in a leisurely manner. Its a nice depiction of Queen and is worth spending a few minutes to view for those with interest in statues and monuments who pass by this area of the city centre.

As with several other monuments, you’ll find this statue along Rokin Street. Dedicated to the Queen of the Netherlands during her reign 1890-1948.

This statue is in a kind of out of the way place. Yet I found myself walking past it several times. It’s large and looks well done. Worth a glance.

I actually liked this statue and certainly like its meaning. I found it hard to get a good photo as where it is placed. Quite a busy area with boats, pedestrians, trains and those damn bikes. Worth visiting and love this area.
