This museum has a treasure of interesting exhibits and stories about the battle that took place in 1944 around Overloon. It is a little tricky to find it since it is located in a wooded area and isn't visible from the parking lot.

This museum tells a fascinating story and talks about WW2 in a very personal and poignant way, really bringing home the effect on the population when mechanised war rolls through their lives. Superb exhibits, moving stories, minute details, tastefully and dramatically portrayed. The museum is...More

Confirm other answer. By car it is indeed between 1h30m and 1h45m. Take A2, A12, A50 and finally A73 in direction of Venlo and take Vierlingsbeek/Overloon exit and follow signs to War Museum
