I like this area its creative, innovative and quirky and very vibey, came here there's lunch and a bit of grafitti art here too

Great Place to Run Business

IMO Strijp-S is the hot place to go, if you want to set up a business in Eindhoven. The facilities, landlords and ambience are fantastic. It's very self-contained, and it's developing into a fantastic business destination. Currently, almost a secret. If your looking for a home for your business, then make sure you look at Strijp-S before you decide.

Lunch with customer

I had a lunch with a customer here in December. We had nice food and could speak privately, there is enough space in between the tables. The restaurant is very big, this must be a nice place for dinner too. Cosy atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Guided tour was interesting!

To learn more about the history of Philips, the future housing plans, innovations and the cultural aspect of Strijp-S, a guided tour is interested! Highlights as the Veemfabriek with city farming and Area 51 skate park are visited, as well as the architectural buildings and ateliers. Worth a visit!

Great overview of the sustainable society and ways to go there. We were very impressed by the nearby TUE exhibition on Strijp T where you can test too e-boards, e-wheels and e-steps like urban transport in NY and SF and other US cities

Our first stop in Eindhoven was at the former Philips area at the Strijp and we experienced immediately the hipster atmosphere because there was a fair going on. Unfortunately not everything was available because of the fair. The interior is still original. They purposely did not paint the walls and pillars or they painted it in the style as it was found after Philips evacuated.

Hipster elevated to hipster

Hipster place, one of the most radical chic place never seen. Both expats and locals hipster and “seems to be that” usually crowd bars and cafe of this Eindhoven city edge. Who like such arrogant people and places, is welcome. Restaurants and bar are a bit more expensive than the city center.

If industrial areas turned into trendy apartments, shops, bakery and graffiti are your thing then to may enjoy it around here. Seems that some of the places round here are not always open especially on Sundays, so check online maybe. There are some great photo opportunities around the area if you have a look around. Well worth a wander, some great artwork pieces around too!!

Old Philips industrial area revamped (cool site to visit)

I was totally impressed by this site. Many old Philips warehouses have been revamped into cafes, office spaces and incubators. What an amazing vibe. Don't forget to visit the AH vershalen. Super cool!
