This is maybe my favorite place in Breda. I am huge snake lover , so I told to my girlfriend to see it . The staff was amazing , they are very nice and friendly people. I never seen people in reptile zoo kind as them. They really take care of all of the animals. I highly recommend to check it out if you go to Breda !

A very well maintained reptile house with many snakes, lizards and turtles. Not the biggest one but enough for me to spend 90 minutes. Feeding giant turtles with salad was my highlight. The place is spotless clean, without bad odours, the size of enclosures is sufficient for most animals and the staff is friendly.

The place is a bit too far away to walk from Breda centre but with the local busses you can reach the place in 15 minutes.

We were invited to a children’s birthday party here and it was a raving success. The kids absolutely loved being taken around, being allowed to touch or feed some of the animals. It is deceptively bigger inside than what you can see from the street. Well worth a visit with children!

If you are animal lovers and especially passionate on reptilians you have to visit this small private collection recently opened to the public. We had some difficulties to find it because it is in the middle of a residential quarter and the insignia is not so visible. In a big, bright, hangar there are several terrariums, which hosts a large variety of lizards, turtles, iguanas, snakes (no poisonous specimen) and even a caiman. Regular guided tours in Dutch are planned during the day. There are small didactic activities for children and you can hold in your hands a wonderful small piton. Highly suggested for families or school groups.

Visited with our 11 year old who likes his reptiles. It’s an interesting place but not much more than an hours worth of entertainment. Lots of lizards, snakes, terrapins and cayman. You can get to handle a snake and feed some terrapins. Well kept animals in large display tanks.

we found this by accident, and were very happy to spend a couple hours learning more about reptiles. Our kids (6&3) were engaged by the reptiles, staff and facilities. The layout promotes discussion and exploration. the reptiles are housed behind glass, which makes it possible for lots of people to look/watch at the same time. We were fortunate enough to be there at feeding time and saw a lot of movement. My favourite were the giant turtles! There are also an impressive amount of toy dinosaurs to play with. just the right amount of hands on playing and hands off watching.
We also pet a snake and got to hold it if we wanted!
really happy to recommend this little place! reasonably priced as well. Snacks and drinks available-but you are welcome to pack your own lunch and bring it in with you. There is also outside seating for warm/dry days.

We visited this zoo three times in three consecutive years. Highlights are feeding the animals with kid participation. My youngest son was there recently with a children’s birthday party. Obviously the snake around your neck is the best experience!

This is a small but beautiful housing of a few reptiles. The staff is very well trained and full of enthusiasm in explaining every aspect of the displayed reptiles .
Children can safely handle small pythons and the staff helps with all information regarding availability of reptiles as pets in the Netherlands and also acts as a point of advice on how to raise them at home .
The cafe is minimal .
Ideal for birthday parties .
