I visited today the caves along with my wife my daughter , my son in law and my two grand children aged four and one . There is a nice snack bar and a Resturant to go to before the start the tour . The Resturant also has clean restrooms . For those not too familiar with Europe, the rest... More

Both the caves (really tunnels) and the fort are two separate but interesting tours available in English. Our group leaders explained some aspects of the history surrounding these special man made features but there is only so much you can learn in an hour. We would have liked an opportunity to learn more but access is limited to only tour... More

This is an average activity turned into something great! The guide (Sarah) is very articulate and masters storytelling. The history and story of this cave network comes alive and makes this tour surprisingly interesting and fun. Its not too short nor long and includes a unique experience that will dazzle your senses. Perfect tour to combine witha beautiful walk around... More

Different to the caves we have visited in France but no less impressive. Well-informed and experienced guides make the experience complete!

These are a must to visit get the tour in English and buy a combined ticket for the fort also. The guide we had was julianya and she was amazing. She made the tour come alive and so interesting. She knows everything about the area and put it across in an interesting way.. A really enjoyable afternoon

We visited these caves in a rainy day . It wasn't the ideal timing but this visit deserved it . It was an unique opportunity to discover this natural creation and man's work in historical background . Our guide was a very educated intelligent polyglot man . Of course the environment inside is somehow disturbing because of darkness and some... More

An interesting and amusing guide walked us through part of this massive catacomb. Needless to say you wouldn't want to get lost down there, as it was explained to us people had got lost and never made it out. Especially scary when all the lights are put out and you really are plunged into complete darkness! Worth a trip.

We took this tour on Sunday June 19th. Our tour guide Nike was great. She was knowledgeable, fun and eager to answer any questions we had. The walk to the cave from the city center gave us an opportunity to see a different part of Maastricht and the views were great. If you are looking for something a bit different... More

We had a nice walk through the Northern caves. Our guide Richard told funny, interesting and awful stories in themes as war, life and history. Because of not having booked the tour through the fortress we walked a little more than the usual hour.

The caves were by far our most favorite attraction to visit in Maastricht. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and although the group was quite big (about 35 people plus a family with a stroller), it was quite fun and never got crowded. Our guide (Nikki if I remember correctly), was just great and knowledgeable. She showed us around for... More
