The old station, right beside the new one is worth a look. The ceiling is beautifully restored and makes for some nice photography, especially at night.

The trainstation is built in the same style as the Rijksmuseum, the central Station in Amsterdam and the one of Den Haag Holland Spoor. I loved it, just looking at the old elements in the Starbucks or the AH to go.... a beauty..., could be...More

Nice building, special glass windows, look at the murals in the entry hall. There is an ATM in the building.

Very beautiful building, was completed in 1896, and recently restored in 2000. In the station there are a few coffee shops and a small store. Located just opposite of Groningen museum, very close to city center.

The lofty entrance hall gleams with rich coloured tiles. The waiting rooms have been converted into a cafe/shop selling very good fresh produce. Altogether an enjoyable place to arrive.
