It is only a bridge over the Wall river, one of some bridges in this area. The bridge self is not a beautiful one but.... the history behind the bridge is more important.

Walk over the bridge late in the evening and enjoy the view of Nijmegen. Think of the fallen of WW2.

Perfect for a bike ride sight seeing, beaches, and meeting local people who is very friendly and proud of their city. we had a great time while assisting at the velocity congress.

Not far at all actually! Must see bridge and hotspot location. Walk to the bridge and find the entry to the famous waal beach and beach cafe opoe sientje. During the four days march and 3 months after, this is the place to be for...More

Did not actually go to the bridge but probably the best place for pictures is from the Valkhof park. Bridge has a historical significance during WWII. And if you go to Valkhof Park you can get two things done....pictures of the bridge and visit valkhof...More

On a Sunny Day it is really nice to walk this bridge. It brings you close to the City Centre of Nijmegen where you have lots of shops and cafes to choose from. People are really friendly here and well worth a trip.
