Nice park to walk around in. Ended at the old city center with great food and shopping opportunities. I would not waste my time stopping to see the animals, as there were very few. The walking path was well-maintained and easy to walk on.

There are nice old streets leading to the park form city centre. The park itself is tranquil place with nice walking paths around a lake and really nice old trees. It is a pity the park is not bigger.

Pretty large city park. One can relax there (or cool of in the shade of the trees, when the weather is really hot, as we had 31 degrees Celsius)

Briefly walked through this busy yet clean park close to Nijmegen old town. It has old castle and tower ruins, plenty of grassy expanses where people were sitting and socialising, natural pond and water features. It’s a five-minute walk from here to the train station and well-kept.

This was my first stop exploring Nijmegen after getting off the train. Neat little island with hut, unusual bridge, and an old castle tower to enjoy!

Life is a picnic, so grab some food and a drink and sit on hill under the old city trees. The environment is really nice.

The Park is very quiet and clean. We walked through the park on our way back to ship. It is very quiet and there are benches all over the park where you can sit and take in the sites of nature. The park also has some jungle gyms for the little ones and there are some animals in enclosures that can be seen. If you are into history, you can still see some parts of the old town walls that have remained close to the pond.

This is a nice park to take a wander in where you can get away from the city bustle. There are some pretty views.
