An amazing experience to wander around in a dark world for half an hour or so. Supervised by an experienced blind guide, who was happily sharing her personal experiences of her tactile-auditory life with us. There are two "worlds", I once did the local one,...More

We would really recommend this museum. Really fantastic experience. Experience little sight in a safe/enjoyable way. Kids (13,11,8) were apprehensive but really enjoyed it.

WE visited about 3 weeks ago. Important museum with an important message. The guide and people working there are lovely.

I wanted to name this an "eye opener", but I see half of the reviews already do it. If you are in Nijmegen, definitely don't miss muZIEum. It's a museum about blind people's life in which you get to actually experience what blind people go...More

A genuinely fascinating and unique experience, different to any other exhibition I've visited. The staff are very friendly and down-to-earth. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Just being blind for one hour gives you insight (hah!) In the abilities and challenges of blind people. Great experience and a wonderful project. Loved it and will do it again!!

Good morning, Thanks for your request! The tour takes about 60 minutes and it takes place in the dark. So we don't tink it's suitable for a baby or little child to be in the dark for a longer period of time. Best wishes... More
