Arnhem Centraal has trains running to many parts of the country including Roosendaal, Zwolle, Utrecht and Amsterdam. There are also international trains to Germany.

The station is beautifully designed and has a modern, airy atmosphere.

There are good transport links with buses to parts of the town and further afield. There are also some stores selling different things depending on what you need.

Contemporary architecture, modern facilities, a selection of shops and large open platforms: Arnhem Station is the definition of what train stations should be in this day and age. Easy to navigate around and not too far of a walk from the Old Town.

I travelled by train to Arnhem to visit the city for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in a modern ,futuristic building ,made of glass. The new railway station is the place where local and international travellers meet ,the bus station is also here ,saving your time .I sat on a nice bench ,imitating the movement of the waves waiting for my train .The building is stunning ,extremely big and it was so easy to navigate there.

THis station took years to build. The architecture is on eof its strongest points. The platforms have waiting rooms. in the evening and at night everything almost evereything is closed. In Winter the hallway is freezing cold (waiting rooms at platforms are heated though, so that is where you want to be waiting for a train at a Winter night). From the station it is easy to take a bus or walk into the city center and shopping area with various hotels around. Walking from the front to the rear of the station is quite a distance, because the front entrance is at one end of the platfomrs, while the rear entrance is at the other end of the platforms. There are facilities like elevators and escalators.

We travelled by train from Amsterdam and found the Arnhem Station to be conveniently located with helpful signage and maps scattered throughout. This modern station is attractive, of open-air design, and clean, and our trains absolutely ran on time. We were somewhat confused about our train to return to Amsterdam, as there were a couple different trains bound for Amsterdam and the electronic signs over the tracks didn't contain sufficient information for us to know which train was ours. In addition, there were no station attendants available for us to ask for a clarification. We eventually figured it out, but having a person to ask would have been a welcome courtesy.

Love this station. Plenty of signage to find your way and the platforms are clearly marked. The escalators and elevators are readily at your disposal. There are no shops open for very early morning travelers-that is my only complaint.

This is just your normal train/bus station. Only if you are in to architecture maybe you like it?! Or if you like to watch people, then this is your place to be!

The central train station is not only practical and customer friendly but also a highlight in contemporary architecture. Wonderfull organic lines, open spaces are a pleasure for the eye. Very close by you find a state of the cinema and some fastfoodies.

Like a little brother is this Smaller version of the Grand Railway station of Rotterdam a gem for Arnhem. Therefor some more friendly with better (day)light one dream and reflects in a wonderland of a mixture of Gaudi and Calatrava.
