The John Frost Bridge - John Frostbrug in Arnhem.
It is the road bridge over the Lower Rhine . Defended during the Battle of Arnhem
during world war 2. A small grass area nearby has flags a plaque along with a large gun. Many people died so quite moving when you stop and think.

After years of watching the Bridge Too Far and learning about Operation Market Garden then when seeing the bridge it is interesting to see. Also, there is a small museum near by which is worth 30mins

Piece of history, to see the places depicted from historical fact and the very famous film of the same. A must see on the market garden tour.

Although historically significant as a bridge it's fairly plain with mostly road traffic going over it. It is of course of great interest and significance to those remembering the battles fought at Arnhem.

A super important landmark in relation to world war 2 history and a must see for anyone in the area. Admittedly it’s a rebuilt bridge as the Allie’s bombed it when the couldn’t take it on the ground. Doesn’t take anything away from its importance though

My wife and I were here on a tour, and unfortunately, did not have a lot of time to truly take in the bridge and soak in its history in greater depth.
We were rushed on the bridge, so most of my photos were from a distance when we first saw the bridge.
One place we did go into for some quick looks was the Airborne at the Bridge. Tells a lot of the history and the sides on the war.
Both places are great to see and realize its history.
We just wished we weren't so rushed to stay with our tour group in Arnhem.

Remove the clueless cyclists and allow some more space to walk and you could spend a bit more time here, but apart from a sign, and some filled in bullet holes there really isn't a lot to see. You can get an idea of how it was to look across the bridge and see tanks coming over, but it is not a relaxing experience due to the damn cyclists.

One of the links in the story of September 1944. Although not the original. The bridge museum is nearby for views and the history. If your not particularly interested in the history of what happened here, there would be not a lot of point in visiting.
