Park Berg en Bos is lovely, and I like it especially for its layout. There's a high platform that enables you to look out over the lake with ducks and all, and it's very pretty. We did a photoshoot here since the surroundings were so...More

Park Berg en Bos is only partially park. It passes silently into the Veluwe forests. So you can walk out of the park without realizing it. If you are not familiar with the environment, you better pay attention or use GPS to find back to...More

Absolutely love this forest park. Love to climb the tower to look all over Apeldoorn. Also the hiking routes are really nice! Doesn't necessarily have to be sunny weather as long as it doesn't rain to have a good time.

This is a cute park, but if you're tight on time, can be skipped. It's just a park with a small lake and a nice restaurant overlooking it.

For a tour around the lake, you get the feeling you are abroad. You can also take a longer, very nice hike through the woods in Berg en Bos.

We like the tower you can climb. It gives a nice view over Apeldoorn. The park itself is not that big but nice.

We actually intended to visit Apenheul, but instead only had lunch and a nice walk through Park Berg en Bos. The fishpond is teeming with huge fish!

Also the Tree Climbing park (klimbos.nl) located within the park has a fee (of course). And the Lumido show lighting the park beautifully at some nights during the summer (lumidoapeldoorn.nl) is also not free.
