What a great place to take your dog for a day of exploring. The train station nestles under the aqueduct of the Kenneth & Avon canal. You can walk along the tow path then loop back through the riverside park. Just by the river is...More

We drove down a winding road from Bradford on Avon to get to the very small village of Avoncliff. Next time if the weather is good I would prefer to walk or cycle as the countryside is glorious. There is a Tea Room and a...More

Elegant stone arches over rail road and river. This is one of the more unusual features of the Kennet & Avon. Great views as you cruise over the top.

The aqueduct designed by John Rennie is unusual in that it crosses a road, river and railway line. Shortly after it was finished the central span started to sink due to poor quality stone and has been repaired many times, go down below to get...More

Visited whilst walking along the canal and what can I say other than stunning. The scenery is just amazing with the water, the wide life, the hills and the canal. Well worth the walk from Bradford.

Must see this place. Very popular for walking and cycling. Easy to get from Bath. Unspoilt and quiet in the week.
