This place is easy to get to on the tram. It is 8CHF for the day. Once inside there are changing rooms, toilets and showers. There are lockers but we didn’t use one. Once in the lake, there are lifeguards so it feels really safe. We had a picnic but there are the usual free water fountains. We had an ice cream which was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the lido on a hot day.

We visited at the end of June on a Saturday morning/afternoon. The place is easy to get to by tram and it has great facilities. You need to take a padlock to put your belongings on a locker we were lucky that they sell some at the restaurant. I was impress with the facilities of the whole place, the changing rooms, the restaurant, the playground area (and they even have a bbq area for people to do their own bbq). My husband and daughter really enjoyed swimming there and they jumped from the trampoline. The only downside is that my husband lost his goggles there while jumping from one of the trampolines. Oh, well, the whole experience is definitely worth it. We would definitely like to come back.

It's a pretty little place right on the banks of Lake Zürich in the centre of town which draws most of its custom from the large insurance companies in the neighbourhood and from people coming to enjoy the lake. As with all of Zürich, prices are ridiculously high, starting with the entrance fee to get in on to the stupidly expensive and depressing selection of terrible local beers. It's fine during the day, when there are families, but it get really skeevy at night when people start getting drunk and the staff get surly and aggressive. I've had items stolen from the lockers while I was swimming and on two occasions have had to deal with aggressive staff, one of whom threatened me for no obvious reason when I started asking questions about my wallet which had been stolen, and generally the vibe gets really unpleasant. The thing is, you can buy a beer from the nearby kiosk and swim for free, or you can pay to get in, and then pay extra for your drinks and put up with the rude and aggressive psychopaths who work there while running the risk of being robbed. There's no benefit from doing business with them and if you want a controlled environment there are much better options nearby. Don't go.

We usually stay here in summer with our two kids, also because they have the Stand up paddle rent & school inside, together with restaurants, lockers, showers, etc.. The grass looks like a golf court, plenty of shady places and the only sand beach in Zürich. If you go, you have to rry the stand up paddle, it's an amazing way to explore the lake with the children and a fun family activity. The Restaurant is good, but it's only vegetarian, however there is also a grill next to it to make some combis. the price is CHF 8, 4 for the kids, that is incredible cheap for what you get.

I think this is my least favourite Strandbad in Zurich. Paid 8 chf entrance but it is nothing special. Changing rooms quite a distance from the lake and overpriced restaurant for what's available. On a positive note, very clean facilities including showers and children's play area. Probably won't go out of my way to visit again.
