Literally, this is an urban oasis. Smacked in the middle of Zürich, you find the serenity of expansive gardens, housing plants from throughout the world. If your day is getting busier than you like, make an escape to the botanical garden and recharge.

Somewhat tired & run down displays. Nice for a stroll - but I think after all the spectacular views we enjoyed while travelling through Switzerland we were left somewhat disappointed with our experience with botanic gardens.

Visited here in early September, and many items were out of bloom. Gardens were very nice, but we have been to over 25 gardens around the world and this is average. The three conservatory buildings were very enjoyable.

The botanical garden is really cool, with a range of flora from select locations across the globe - there are also three domed greenhouses home to a range of plants from the tropics

We were here in September and the gardens were well worth a visit. There is a wonderful area for sitting and enjoying nature. There are chairs supplied and the locals were certainly enjoying the sun.

I had read this was a top spot in Zurich to visit and was not let down. There are a number of hot houses with exotic plants to visit as well as walking trail through out the Garden.

We were looking forward to a nice garden walk, but found an unkept garden area instead. I'm not sure why the area was in such disrepair, while the rest of the city is so beautiful. Save your steps for another venue.

The botanical garden is a good option if you want to walk in the nature and enjoy the warm weather for a couple of hours without leaving the city. I really liked the tropical section and the piranha pools.
