Amazingly huge church tower and clock. Very beautiful and definitely a money shot with your camera. Understated elegance.

Another church that stands out while you're doing your walking around Zurich and another church for some great photos and scenery. You can't miss this when in Zurich. Didn't get a chance to go inside

The church can b recognized by the impressive large clock on the tower that is an element of the Altstadt on the left side of the Limmat.. Nice external appearence, but nothing special inside.

On the other side of Grossmunster lies St. Peterskirche, with its huge clock face gilded with gold paint. The square around it is also very nice and takes you back a couple hundred of years. Definitely a must see in Zurich.

St. Peterskirche is a must see in Zurich. It's a quaint, romantic church which harkens back to yesterday. It boasts the largest clock face in Europe, so one can't really say he's late because he didn't know what time it was in Zurich.

It's a big clock. If you're a clockophile, you'll love it! Otherwise, you can easily pass by without giving it a second notice.

My friend told me it is the largest clock face in Europe! Worth seeing just for that. There are great views of this clock tower from anywhere in the old town. I didn't go inside, but loved how it was an unmissable feature wherever you were standing in Zurich old town!

One of the four main churches/cathedrals in Zurich, St Peterskirche stands tall in the skyline. The clock face is of particular interest and is well worth a close-up look if you have time. The church is easy to find within the narrow streets of Zurich on the south side of River Lemmat. It has a smaller courtyard that Fraumunster. At... More

This is a beautiful building, which boasts the biggest clock face in not just Switzerland, but all of Europe! You have to give it to Swiss time-keeping! A must-see! This church is in an area with other "must-see" locations such as the Roman ruins of a centuries old bathhouse and other notable Swiss landmarks. TIP: All public fountains in Zurich... More
