This place deserves a stop if you are nearby. The views are stunning. There are also different wine makers that offer wine tasting tours here. Definitely a must-visit to see this unique, terraced vineyard.

Highly recommend a wine tasting at Domaine Bovy and walking along Chem. du Dezaley. The latter is a quiet, flat path along the lake with vineyards right on either side of you for the whole walk.

These vineyards fully merit their UNESCO World Heritage Site status - they are magnificent. I only wish we had more tome to explore them, to walk the trails and to sample the wines. My recommendation would be to add a day to your visit just for the Lavaux Vineyards.

Such beautiful views. The roads are narrow and steep, so be prepared for some arduous walking. The views of Lake Geneva and the beautiful vineyards can be worth it.

Beautiful vineyards even during winter, it is worth it if you are in the region of Montreux. My friend took me there with her car and we had a beautiful view of the lake with the vineyards. I am sure it looks even more beautiful when the weather is clear and when they are more green. It was the first week of January.

We drove along Lake Geneva heading towards Montreux. When we looked up the hill, we could see many Chateau and the grape vines on the slopes. They looked very beautiful.

We didn’t stop at any of the vineyards. Would definitely plan to do so if we come back again.

What a lovely day we had strolling from Chexbres to Vevey through the vineyards. Wonderful views of Lake Leman, the mountains and of course, the vineyards. The paths were very quiet and for much of the time we did not see anyone else: magical.

Visited late October and walked through autumnus colours of vineyards and saw the sunset. Incredible views and highly recommend. However if you plan on going to some of the wine tasting places, make sure you visit the majority before 6pm unless it is vinorama as they close at 8pm!

I really dont like when reviewers say "must see", however this is a case of must see.
I've been all over the world, and this is one of the most beautiful places out there.

September 28- no crowds, i had a list of wineries that were open on saturday, parking piece of cake (70% of the time I parked steps away from the winery), just go in and enjoy, wine, cheese, views.

We didn't have time to walk through the vineyard but we were able to see them twice during our trip. First, was on the train ride from Geneva to Montreux and then again when we took the 3 hour lake tour on CGN's La Suisse Belle Epoque ship. I also was able to enjoy the wines from this area at our hotel, all local restaurants and on the ship. I usually drink red wines but so enjoyed both the local whites and reds. They were so easy to drink. Their whites were perfect with lunch and in the afternoon. On menus, look for the wines from Vaud or St. Saphorin. Delicious!
