Starts in Montreux with a comfy ride in a vintage train, with friendly tour guides serving chocolate in all its forms (hot chocolate, chocolate croissants, and just plain chocolate). The ride itself was scenic, through villages and hill farms, with occasional great views of Lake...More

The trip turned out to be more exciting for me to think about than actually going! We had already been travelling by train through Germany, Austria and Switzerland for a few days so the train journey with the undoubtedly beautiful sights wasn't that much of...More

Visited chocolate train last week , found it unbearable in heat when it stops at various stops , also very noisy as driver continuously brakes , excruciating noise and painful to the ear drums

It starts off great. For an hour you go in a 1915 Pullman car up the mountain while eating a fantastic chocolate croissant with tons of chocolate and nuts. If this is worth $200 to you, then leave at this point and go back to...More
