My average score reflects the fact that it was raining on the morning of our visit and the lake was covered in mist. As this is a viewing area not much could be seen. On a dry day I guess the views are stunning. The viewpoint is located in a small pleasant park.

A large park around the Tribunal Fédéral with plenty of grass for picnics or sunbathing, children's play area, fountains, sculpture, restaurants, and great views of the lake. It's after the big hotel Lausanne Palace when walking from St-François, and above a large car park. The Supreme Court building was designed by Benjamin Recordon and incorportes many kinds of stone quarried in Switzerland. In front is a statue of William Tell, and a couple of smaller ones by local artist Nikola Zaric whose sculptures combining humans and animals can be seen around town. Also in the area, at the southern end of Pont Chauderon (bridge) and close to the Cécil bus stop is a small sculpture park for children, with 18 "stations", bronze sculptures with texts recounting a legend (in French): Latin alphabet on one page and braille opposite (parc des légendes).

A must visit hotspot in Lausanne. It is very easy to anscend and take photos of the town and the lake from a high hill a few minutes walking from the central gare. Do not miss it, I highly recommend it!

A beautiful park at a higher elevation in Lausanne, with magnificent views of the town! Here at the park, you can enjoy the Brasserie and have a lovely meal, or just stroll the park and enjoy the peace and lovely views. You can also see a beautiful view of the Place de Justice and its fountains.

Really well-maintained park overlooking Lake Geneva (called Lac Leman in the local French) and the Alps in the distance. The old courthouse sits at the head of the park, opening onto the wide green lawn that stretches to a balcony above some more of the city. I’m pretty sure the Esplanade is actually built on top of a parking garage, which is a great idea and an excellent way to save space in a city as tightly packed as Lausanne. It’s a great place for sunbathing, people-watching, and picnicking.

Beautiful old buildings, monuments and wonderful old trees. But the best is the wonderful view over Lausanne.

This is a nice little park to relax and chill. It is worth the detour if you are in downtown Lausanne. There is a nice view of Lausanne and the lake and the tribunal architecture is worth seeing.
