We had a beautiful sunny day and got to do some short hiking around. Lots of view points and a lot to see. Easy to get to the funicular by public transportation and not too crowded in October.

Mottas Muragl is one of the great location in St Moritz to both experience the journey and see the beautiful scenery around St Moritz. You can reach the peak by taking a long funicular journey from the Punt Muragl station which also give you breathtaking view of st moritz. On the peak, not only that you can enjoy the scenery,... Very easy to get to by public transport. The trip to the top in the fenicular is pretty great but they lack too many people into the cars. Can be a little swishy. If you like to hike, some fabulous tracks with the most incredible views of the alps and town of St Moritz. We were lucky to get a... More

We took the funicular up and spent 2.5 hours hiking the trails. After we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. We shared the beef shanks with potato gratin. It was delicious and restorative. The restaurant is clean and contemporarywith a wide selection of lunch options. The real treat though are the sweeping views of the Engadine.

This is a worthwhile outing. The funicular is pricey (~$36/person round trip), but what in Switzerland is not expensive? The views are breathtaking. There is a nice restaurant at the top - plan to have breakfast or lunch.

Reached by ventricular from station next to Punt Muragl train station. Amazing views from beautiful terrace at the hotel. Good selection of wines and beers. Not expensive given the location.

Beatiful mountain views. It is really worth visiting in evening. Sunset is extremely spetacular and romantic. After 6 p.m. tickets are in lower price. On summer and autumn Wednesdays at 6.30 p.m. is a concert of traditional Swisd music.

Our hotel gave us a free pass so we went. The ride to the top was fun, closed my eyes going down. Lots of trails to hike. Short and long. Hard to easy. The view is amazing no mater from what point. Nicel place to eat at the top, but we brought our lunch and ate at the picnic bench.
