Spent a week in Davos - spring skiing so off piste not an option but good all the same - some very good long runs - if snow conditions are good this would offer lots of off piste too - definitely recommend

On the week were were there the runs were well covered with good snow, off piste was not to be recommended, it had been softened by sun and then frozen. Lots of runs to explore, but lovely for fast runs. The lifts were slow however...More

Skiing Davos is a pleasure! The mountain is very well groomed, and links Klosters with Davos by skiing over Parsenn. It is a perfect selection of trails for all ski levels, with particularly great selection for intermidiate skiiers. My only tip is to avoid Davos...More

I had my first skiing experience here this year and absolutely loved it. There are slopes for all levels (I had friends with me that are very advanced), and all types of winter activities. The slopes are perfectly groomed and there are plenty of places...More

This is a great place for both experienced skiers and those learning. There are a variety of slopes from which to select and likely this is one of the reasons that it is a popular skiing area. Of course, Davos is also very well known...More

Not the same as France or USA. Pistes are not as wide, challenging slopes, and still got T-bars lifts which are a bit of a shock if you are used to "poma" or chairs. Good for the more experienced skier. Low altitude for many of...More

In my opinion the best skiing resort in Switzerland. Immaculately groomed ski trails, offering something for all types of skiers. Try the runs from Weissflühjoch to Schiffer valley station and Totalp.

The buses are free all around the area for visitors. The winter walking map is excellent and there are many varied walks in the area for all levels of walkers. The paths were maintained well. Best walking I have found in Switzerland.

Although the Davos resort is beautiful (I went to Parsenn and Jakobshorn), I prefer the North American ski experience. Davos is very stripped down - sort of like Alta on anti-steroids. There are virtually no signs telling you where you are or where you are...More

The skiing in Switzerland is completely different. So be prepared to work harder around ungroomed slopes. The town of Davos is the definition of charming so apres skiing was definitely a wonderful experience.

hi we are planning a late spring ski trip. What are the conditions typically like first week of April in Davos - is there still a reasonable amount of slopes open?
