The journey to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, at 3454 metres Europe’s highest altitude railway station, is the highlight of every visit to Switzerland. It offers visitors a high-Alpine wonderworld of ice, snow and rock, which can be marvelled at from vantage terraces, the Aletsch Glacier or in the Ice Palace. On clear days, views extend as far as the Vosges mountains in France and Germany’s Black Forest.

We had great weather which made me wonder whether this trip would be worthwhile of the weather was forecast to be bad or poor or alright etc If there was forecast to be rain and doubtful visibility one should not bother

We had an amazing day exploring the area and it was a picture perfect day. There were a lot of people so be mindful it's not easy to get around everyone however it didn't detract from the view.

A beautiful view from the top. It's very busy, even out of the summer season, but definitely worth a visit. Not terribly disabled friendly so worth checking to see if there is help available.

The Alpine weather is changing incredibly fast. During my visit on 3-Oct, it was raining and foggy all the way up so you can basically see nothing. On the top there was a blizzard so there is no way you can go out to the...More

We were in the ice palace and having a jacket is advisable. Check the weather forecast in advance not only for temperature but visibility. If you can, go outside and hike a bit in the glacier
