If you like to explore and enjoy great scenery then this place is for you. We had snow which made it even more stunning but I think just as nice in the summer. We went early so restaurant was closed but friends have eaten here and give it the thumbs up.

It is a beautiful place… with a very big gap and NO fences! The path skirts cliff and there is no barrier which can retain the imprudent ones. When turning back, make a stop at the restaurant up there! Yet a place to go to if you pass nearby!

Walking on the edge of the drop is amazing, great walk from the farms to the small restaurant past the cliff. Great environment for a quick mid-day hike.

Walk up from the railway station at Noraigue and after a stiff climb have a Fondu at Ferme du Robert. The circular walk will take around 4-6 hours but you'll love it.

We did a roundtrip, about 3 1/2 hours of hiking by 600 meters of down and up. Several restaurants are on the way. If you're around go for the trip it's worth to visit the "small" grand canyon of switzerland.

If you have time enough, hiking up and down is an experience I wouldn't miss. It is only about 14km, though 700 meter difference in height. But you still have plenty of time to take pictures. Leave early enough, so you'll be there before the crowd arrives!!

Perfect for families - to do if you are in the region! There are numerous places to stop on the way (a farm with lots of animals of different kinds, "restaurants" etc.), you can also access the place easily by car, ideal for picnics...

After visiting the Château de Neuchâtel in the morning, we drove to Creux-du-Van to spend a few hours here. We entered Saint Aubin into our GPS, as we had a hard time locating this attraction. Thanks for the Trip Advisor reviewers, we knew we wanted to drive up all the way to Le Soliat Restaurant, to save a lot of... More

I have never done the hiking route but I have been up to Creux-du-Van three times and every time it was by car. I have heard the hiking route is not the easiest one but my mother-in-law did it when she was 60 years old and she is no Sigourney Weaver so that tells me that most people can do... More
