Rigi is truly a queen of the mountains. The number of hiking trails , scenic and breathtaking view are amazing. Rigi does not have snow all year round , inface has not had snow yet this winter hence the sports activities are impacted but still...More

The weather was warm and sunny when we arrived but it soon turned very cold so hot chocolate in the cafe was most welcome. Lovely mountain views and walks

We took train toward Art-Goldau from Luzern and then a short walk to catch Mt Rigi train to to the peak Rigi Kulm . The cable car was not in service going to the 2nd peak Rigi Sheidegg unfortunately. Switzerland is known for amazing views...More

From what I remember the older Vitznau railway to Rigi is not as steep compared to other cars in Switzerland. It's actually quite gentle in slope from what I remember.
