This lake is amazingly beautiful. Bluest water I've ever seen, with the snow-capped Alps as a backdrop. Highly recommend taking a boat trip around the lake.

It's a very beautiful lake with allees for walkers, small boats for water-cruises and a paradise for those who love to stay calm watching the water.
Old world and modern boats offer day trips, eating and drinking on the lake. Plenty of Swans to be seen here too, with an interesting log barrier to keep the swans from the adjacent roads
Lake Lucerne is a very large lake, we had taken an hour long Cruise on our way to Mt. Pilatus, the scenery along the way even though the Lake is very wide, you could see the Swiss houses and the greenery. Definitely worth a trip.
The one hour tour of the lake was just beautiful. The snow covered peaks were majestic in the distance.
We spent a mid-November day walking the lake and enjoyed every minute of the beauty. There are a number of shops and, in general, it's a great place to take a stroll and spend an afternoon.
