From the outside nothing overly exciting, then you enter and find it is the most ornate church. Everywhere you look the decorations are stunning

This is one of the most beautiful churches in Switzerland. We were lucky enough to visit while a choir and orchestra was practicing, and the acoustics are amazing. It's on the shore of Lake Lucerne and seems to be open to visitors most of the...More

Located on the south bank of the Reuss River, the great Jesuit church was built between 1666-1673. It's twin onion-domed towers were completed in the 19th century. The vast Baroque interior is a dramatic explosion of gilt, marble, epic frescoes, and incredible rose and white...More

Jesuit church is very simple, yet very detailed. It's not fancy like some other churches we have seen.

The inside of this iconic church is simply amazing. Definitely go inside!! Stay a while so you can have the place in quiet after the bus loads leave. It's a remarkable piece of art, full of spot for worship.

I only got to spend a few minutes admiring all the statues and gold that adorn this old church since it was Holy Week. It is definitely worth a look as you stroll around Luzern.

With its interesting steeples, you are curious about tge interior. Most would not be prepared for the bright white and pink marble interior. Compared to other European churches, it is a must see!
