What to say? We missed the tour. So how can you have a review you may ask? Simple. With only 36 hours you have to choose what you can see and do. We stopped at MANOR Department store, on recommendation of our friend, who has lived here 15 years. Looking for a unique memory to take back to family, we could share, we found FAVARGER chocolates and when presented, at the return of our trip, it was considered a great representaion of the sweet time in Geneva, Tasty and full of flavor the 4 varieties of their chocolate bar was a fine reminder of our brief time in the city. Sts Peter & Paul was an adventure to add a highlight for trip. Wish we could have visited the Factory as well. Next time!!

I received Favarger chocolates as a gift from my family in Geneva who have been costumers of theirs for many years.
As I opened the pack of chocolates, which was completely sealed with a plastic wrap,
I was shocked to discover live worms inside and sticky webs!
The product is well within the date of use!
The saddest thing about it is that after writing a respectful form to Favarger with the story and attached photos, they refused to respond to any of my letters which included - Email, Facebook, Website.

Poor costumer service for a defective product. Would never recommend!

We sincerely apologise for this incident and can well imagine how disappointed you must have been. Based on the photos that you sent us, they were probably moth larvae (Indian meal moth). The presence of larvae indicates that eggs were laid down by the female moth between 31 and 58 days before the picture was taken. If picture was taken in March 2018, chocolates must have been infested between early January and mid-February 2018. Thanks to our rigorous traceability system, we can certify that absolutely all the pralinés chocolate boxes produced on July 17th 2018 had left our premises several months before the infestation period. Moreover, the control sample that we have kept from the production of July 17th is of perfect quality with no trace of infestation in those chocolates. If we can rigorously control the quality of all the chocolates made and stored in Favarger, we can unfortunately not control the entire distribution chain and consequently we cannot prevent the chocolates to be infested in the warehouses or stores of our retailers. As complete consumer satisfaction is a priority for us, we are pleased to offer you a box of 24 assorted pralines along with a box of 36 assorted Avelines. We hope that you will continue enjoying our products in future. Yours sincerely, The Favarger Team

We called in to the factory shop and tasted the smoothest chocolate with several varieties. Didn't find the same range anywhere else. The orange chocolate bar is particularly recommended.

Don't skip this place if you are in Geneva and love chocolate like I do. This is one of the oldest chocolate factories in Geneva and it very unique compare to other places since most of its machinery is still original from the day it opened many years ago.
The tour is amazing and you don't feel rushed. You will be explained and shown the whole process of chocolate making and have a chance to sample some at the end.

We tried to walk in and were told that tours are only given with prior reservations. When we looked it up for another day, it was out of our price range, so we skipped it.
