You will be surprised to find a small beach in Genava, as beaches are always relevant to a sea shore.. but this one sits on lake geneva.. its very pleasant place with awesome views.. u get to see the huge lake, airplanes landing faraway.. fountain in the lake.. with all this, you can just grab a glass of beer and... bains de paquis is a summer beach that also has a restaurant and some massage services. but what makes it unique is that it's one of the only geneva places where you see poor folks next to rich folks, alternative types next to bankers. on the down side, the beach is all concrete and gets too packed in summer

A walk along the waterfront of Quai du Mont Blanc takes you to a jetty bridge and out to this little island with a lighthouse at the tip. Stoney beach and some stairs provide access for swimmers into the waters. It was a delightful stroll

In summer I think is a good place. But O went there in april so... I can't say for sure. It fine to walk near the lake , see the swans and the ducks swimming around. People were jumping into the water anyway and children were playing. It's a small oasi into the city but you can find better!

It was delicious (obviously from what everyone else has said :)). It also makes no sense how expensive it is at 25 chf... everything else is actually reasonable (dare I say cheap?) for Geneva. My point in commenting here - the fondue was actually available 11am-2pm AND after 6pm... don't be deceived by the site saying only after 6 pm:)... More

As I lived on the other side I always went to the Quai Gustave Ador side of the lake and the plage there. This weekend meeting up with some friends we met the other side and walked down to the diving boards. It looks awesome and even tough it is only March there were still lots of people around. There... This is one of my favorite places in Geneva. The ambiance is quite nice, very friendly, they have big tables and everyone shares it and the view is excellent!. The price is quite cheap for Geneva standards, you can eat a soup for 5 francs, the plat du jour for 14 francs or get a fondue for 21 francs. Especially... More

In the summer hundreds of people are there and taking some sun, do bike, see some street events or just walking by. It's croudy and it's a very good place to visit since it's near the lake and you have some coffee places to take an ice cream.
