I went to this place to know a bit more about the major characters of Christian Reformation. Opposite to it is a wonderful park. A must see :)

Worldwide, about 80 million people belong to a Reformed church with Swiss roots. It belongs to the mainstream Evangelical-Protestant movement and is part of the Christian Church worldwide. The wall standing 5 m high and 100 m wide, depicts reliefs of influential characters and scenes central to the Protestant Reformation of 1536. The influential characters's understanding of faith, life and... More

It was lovely to walk around in the Parc des Bastions before coming to the wall. The statues are very impressive. Make sure you brush up on your history of the Protestant movement in Switzerland to make your visit more meaningful.

As Geneva has played a key role in the reform, this is an interesting historic landmark. located in the nice park des bastions, close to the university.

It was an impressive wall and the statues were imposing and beautiful, but there was little information available to explain. I enjoyed looking at the statues and the massive wall, but didn't learn much. Enjoyed watching my kids play droughts on the big chess boards in the park more...

It's nice place ,you must visit it at day time as they don't put any light there or projectors. The park where they are is big one currently they have small ice skating rink and small restaurant. It's nice place for children .

The park itself is worth the stroll, but coming upon this wall and seeing the characters that has such a deep impact on this city was just breathtaking.

Long, high and stark monument to the Reformation a few hundred years ago. Situated in a nice tranquil park. Unfortunately no English information.

The wall sculptures are not great art but it represents so much about the religious history of the city that it is a must see. A bonus is the beautiful park.

Besides being a green area, Parc des Bastions park houses famous 100 m long "Reformation wall". This monument commemorates the major events and personalities of the Protestant Reformation with 5 m tall statues of four of them dominating the central part of the wall.
