The church is located in the middle of Zurich’s historic town centre. This is a beautiful building from outside, however the real reason to visit this place is the view from top of the Cathedral tower. Do not miss to climb the towers if you...More

A visit to the main city cathedral is almost essential. This church is no exception and it's sheer size is impressive. However, because of its Protestant roots, there is virtually no ornamentation or embellishment inside. Indeed, its austere feel is somewhat oppressive. Consequently, one is...More

After walking around the old area of Geneva we entered this cathedral and were immediately impressed. The organ was being played and it filled the chamber with an awesome sound. The altar on the side is beautiful.

If you are interested in history this church is a must-do. You can see John Calvin's chair still standing there. From the towers you have a great view over lake and city.

Beautiful church in the center of Geneva town. It is possible walk in the tower, at the top of the church. You will have a wonderful view on the "jet d'eau" and all Geneva.

St Pierre is the main church of Geneve and it is obviously one of the main architectural, artistic and historic attractions. Like all Calvinist churches there is almost no decoration inside other than the beautiful stained glass windows and the original architecture, which makes a...More
