This museum looked like it was well laid out, and had some interesting history of science, particularly from a Swiss perspective. However, while some of the major section labels were in English and French, more detailed labels were French only. This made it too frustrating...More

The museum is set in a park next to the lake shore and contains 2 floors of old scientific equipment, relating to microscopes, electricity, solar system, etc. Most of the signage is in French with little English. The building itself is lovely with beautifully decorated internal...More

The museum is small but interesting! Is situated in a green place with a gorgeous view. Inside, besides the few things written in english, everything is written in french so if you don't know the language you can understand only the half of it. I...More

The building looks great and the exhibits interesting. The light in particular within the high ceiling rooms and illuminating the exhibits looked entrancing. However, the staff were so rude to me that I would never wish to return.

Luckily this place is free for public. Two small floors full of mostly dull facts and lots of instruments. The visitors can only watch and read - they do not get to do or touch much. I have been to much more interesting museums of...More

Much smaller than we anticipated. Just about 10 smallish rooms of microscopes, telescopes, globes etc. My fav was Voltare's original battery. Amazing location in botanic gardens with spectacular views of Mont Blanc
