Awesome place, it is the second biggest HQ for the United Nations even if Switzerland joined the UN in 2002. You will have the opportunity to see a beautiful place and learn more about the UN.

The UN headquarters in Geneva used to be the seat of the League of Nations and is typical of the architectural style on the the 1930's. It is now the venue of countless International Conference and the decisions taken have a world-wide impact. So is it worth a visit ? Yes if you are interested in architecture, but not much... More

UNOG - or United Nations Office Geneva - is, after New York, the second headquarters of the UN. Well worth a visit to this iconic place even if it's just to see the famous entrance with flags representing every member of the UN, including Switzerland who only become a full member in recent years. If you have an hour to... More

I was looking forward to visiting the UN building which the building lived up to my expectations. I found the tour very informative. The only downside was the tour guide did not allow people time to take photos in the last room and was rushing people out. Being rushed out I did not appreciate, as the room is shown on... More

we paid for the guided tour and it is not worthy at all! the tour guide was too fast, she wont give u a time to enjoy the conference hall and to take pictures of yourself. you wont be able to take picture to the capital of peace sign which is on the middle of the perimeter. this is really... More

The Palais des Nations is a historic estate pre-dating the UN when Geneva and Europe were at the heart of international negotiations at the League of Nations. Following World War II, the balance of power shifted across the Atlantic and the UN was established in New York. It is now the European HQ of the UN and the centre of... More

The tour was informative, giving history of various works of art and as well as what important decisions are made by world leaders at the UNOG. We would have enjoyed spending a little more time there. If you want to go to a public meeting, you need to request the ability to do so 24 hours in advance.

The United Nations building was the most magnificent part of Geneva. It was the main reason of my visit in Geneva. The UN square was beautiful and the broken chair too 🇨🇭

After a rather long walk uphill from the bus stop, and a long queue to get in, we managed to get in for the last visit of the day. We had chosen a French guide, and were disappointed to have a non-native French speaker as our guide. Her French was great, but still with some accents and very hard to... More
