Had about 2 hrs time to visit before my train back home, which really was not enough, largely because of the curated Sarah Morris' film art. Great presentation quality and powerful work. I also really loved the Hamed Abdella Focus. Will definitely come back for another visit.

A beautiful building, an appalling museum. If your hope is to see several of Paul Kee's main masterpieces, forget it. They are kept there but not shown to the public. The exhibition is a pathetic 2 or 3 rooms, with very few of his works, manly minor ones. It is not as if the Swiss had hundreds or thousands of great artists born in their land. There is one: if you want to see his paintings go to New York, Munich, London, Madrid, Washington... Not to his home town!

Cool building. Interesting art collection. Good thing to do on a rainy day. Easy bus access from Old Town and you can stop off to see the bears on the way.

The building and collection are worth seeing. Architecture by Renzo Piano and the artwork is all Paul Klee. Need I say more?

The infrastructure of the Zentrum Paul Klee was excellent and has so much potential. We were disappointed, however, with the exhibition from the permanent collection. We felt that these did not come near to representing Klee's best work. I think the staff agreed because they had discounted the admission because some of the galleries were closed. Even with the discounted CHF 13 per person admission (net of a senior citizen discount), we felt the value wasn't there. Unfortunately, a disappointing showing of the Klee works on 9/23/2023.

This nicely designed building housed a great variety of artists. The artists and teir works have already been explained by other reviewers and so I'd only say, I'd recommend for everyone visiting Bern to check this museum out.

From downtown Bern we took Bus No 12 to the Paul Klee center and enjoyed the excellent show of Joan Miro.
All paintings from Barcelona.
The curation was outstanding and we learned a lot about this artist.
Not only was the approach to this place very easy ,but the 3 waves from Renco Piano are really worth seeing it .
The other expedition about Paul Klee was also worth experiencing but we had time only to see the film about this Bauhaus master .
We wiil repeat this visit
So you have 3 hours to spare in Bern visit the Paul Klee Center

A very poor experience . It’s not the templum of the great artist I expected . The museum claims to have almost the opera omnia of the artists ( 4000 works ) but has decided to show very few paintings , mostly sketches. The structure was built with a very very generous donation of the Müller family…never money was more wasted …

To see the full great undulating design by Renzo Piano we alighted from the bus at the penultimate stop. Getting great vistas of the Centre in the lovely autumnal sunshine and of the snow capped mountains beyond.

It was an unrivalled opportunity to see such an unparallel assembly of the famous Swiss artist’s oeuvre. Encompassing numerous art movements and endeavours in colours and patterns, his are singular and imaginative works.

With titles such as Individualised Altimetry of Layers and Love Song at Blue Moon, there is also a playful element to Klee’s art.

Never having seen any of the American artist Isamu Noguchi’s sculptural creations, a fine assemblage of multifaceted works were on show.

A wide variety of forms, abstract and almost figurative, are here. Strange Bird (To the Sunflower), This Earth, This Passage and Lunar Landscape (Woman) are just some of the named.
