It's just across the bridge from old town but very few people were there. We stumbled on it when one of our group noticed it in a guide book and it was near our hotel. End of summer, so maybe not as colorful as earlier...More

Not the most colourful botanical garden or extensive one we have visited, but there is a certain quiet magic here and suggest set aside an hour to “chill & relax” walking around the gardens Many people, we assume locals from Bern, were picnicking in the...More

A very beautiful walk around, to chill. Little sights of the river make it stunning and the whole atmosphere is very calm. It's a shame that certain areas like the orangery seemed not to be accessible for some reason? Other than that, it was a...More

Such an interesting garden: beautiful specimen trees set on a steep river bank. The gardens in early summer have been let to go a little wild. The most beautiful, pond alight with sparkling dragonflies of a bright blue. Very much a domestic garden in its relaxed...More

I had to wain in Bern for 3 hrs for my next train, so I went here because it was close to the train station, around 10 min walking (something like that..). It is very small, but I enjoyed the sight. Very good to relax...More

Pretty little garden to have a nice walk around. We have visited it in December, when it certainly wasn't in its full glory cause all the plants looked half dead lol...if you go there try visiting in the spring or summer :)

Worth a visit if you're in the area. Botanically diverse considering its size, with several themed greenhouses. Good for a picnic in summer, and access to the river. There is a coffee shop in the Gardens that is open only in summer.
