Besides being very large and functional, this station is also very beautiful. Make sure to see the inside if you are not travelling by train.

Of course the station has to be amazing, given that the Swiss rail system is so famous worldwide. This is truly the lifeline for so many people each and every day. As soon as you enter you get the whiff of freshly baked goods, and...More

The Tram Station has quite a few commuters from France and Germany in the morning and returning from work around 5 to 6. There are several places where sandwiches and drinks can be purchased and eaten, and several specialty shopes, such as Laderach chocolates, which...More

Since the Basel railway station was inaugurated in 1907, it underwent so many changes, what remained however is the front building. Built in the neo-baroque it is a beautiful building and worthwhile to visit even if you don't take a train. Great hotels are located...More

It is very easy to get from one train to another. It has roll steps, steps and elevators. Stores and cafes all around. Parking is EZ. Trams in front and back. Just watch out. If you miss one. Relax there are many coming in just...More

If somebody needs to go the rest room, it's only one WC in the underground near the main entrance. And you'll need to pay 2 CHF. It's clean but for both sexes.

We took a cab to the train station as it was too far from the ship dock to walk. An efficient station. Easy to buy tickets and navigate.

We travelled on the train between the two cities. I think the train is more comfortable because you can walk around and stretch. The seats are more comfortable than a bus. More leg room. The difference in cost is about... More

Pease allow at least 30-45 minutes to buy your ticket to Interlaken. The platforms that SNCF uses are not in the same building as Swiss SBB. It is very likely that you have to ask around to get to SBB side. I hope this helps.
