If you like football (soccer or fútbol, in spanish) and you are lucky to be in Basel when there's a football match, could be grate to go to the stadium. All well organized and you can watch the game very close to the field
Stadium easy to get to and from with regular efficient trams. Stadium is a bit lego-ish but serves it's purpose. Friendly locals. View from away section not the best as caged in both sides but if you win who cares?
Went for Basel vs Manchester United in Champs League group game.
Trams are easy to use to get to stadium and are free for tourists, ask at your hotel if you don't get pass.
